Holy Ground by Nicola G. Karesh
I enter holy ground
And my soul splits open
Through an aperture in time.
I can feel the buzz of centuries
Encapsulated in one brick.
Decades of dust, dying and desire.
Eons of love flowering
And opening to sacred light.
An enlightened world dawning,
Breaking and cresting again,
Here on the shores of our time.
We are standing on holy ground
Right here in every rising now.
